Welcome!

So, I suppose for my very first post, I will tell you a little about me. I'm 25 and a newlywed. I've always loved to cook and decorate. I really want to love to garden, but I killed my mums within a week...I'm like the grim reaper of the plant world. Sometimes, despite my love for things...I fail miserably. Usually, it's quite hilarious. Sometimes it's quite disastrous to the tune of a very scary trip the ER.

My husband is a very accomplished cook, can pick out my clothes better than I can, and apparently has a green thumb. (This has not yet been tested, due to our life in apartments with limited yard) Somehow, he puts up with my attempts at being the quintessential southern wife and only marks my mistakes with gentle advice (re: gently removing the mixing bowl from my hands.)

I made my first fried egg the other night. I fried, I flipped, I burned the fire out of my finger and I broke the yolk. And, this is only the beginning.
